About Chuck
When it comes to Internet marketing, actually search engine marketing, I have been in and around the business since 1997 when I built a website for the mortgage industry that eventually became Mortgage101.com. Today that site is still at the top of Google for the very competitive keyword ‘mortgage’.
These days, I have an internet marketing company called Volume9 which is the holding company for a number of different projects that I am current working on. Here is a quick run down:
In early 2006, Michael Borgelt and I started Market Vertical Partner, LLC as an search engine marketing company. While the LLC no longer exists, the MVP brand, Michael and it’s clients continue to operate as the retail brand of our Internet marketing service offering.
In 2006, I meet Troy Lerner at The Booyah Agency and contracted as an Organic Search Advisor. Today, these clients are managed through Volume9 and TBA continues to be a very strategic and important partner for our search engine optimization services.
In fact, this ‘wholesale’ or ‘private label’ type of business is where I am seeing the most demand in the marketplace right now as more web design companies want to launch fully optimized websites and are looking to partner with search marketing firms to deliver this service to it’s customers during the initial build phase instead of the more traditional process of ‘optimizing’ after the site is completed and launched.
I moved to Colorado in 1991 from Orlando, Florida, where I attended University of Florida and am an avid ‘Gator’ football fan. I got my Bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State College of Denver in Finance and Accounting in 1994. I was married to Kelly Lynnae Salin in 1996; and we have two children, Tyler, born in 1998, and Morgan Jolie, born in 2006. I have lived in Highlands Ranch, Colorado since 2000.
