March Madness Video Clips – vault.ncaa.com

In the SEM industry, you don’t always get to choose the projects that you get to work on.  Here’s a new project that my team and I are looking forward to -> The NCAA Basketball Video Vault.

Basically, the Vault enables fans to search for individual plays and highlights from their favorite NCAA men’s basketball teams and athletes from NCAA Sweet Sixteen® games through the championship games of the last decade (2000-2009).

I think one of the coolest features is that you can post comments about specific moments within the Vault’s game timelines and share them through links or Twitter and Facebook.

Comments will show up on their Twitter and Facebook pages with links back to the exact moments in the Vault games they selected, creating conversations among millions of March Madness fanatics.

You have to play-around with the site to really appreciate how it works. And it will give me a great excuse to ‘spend some time at the local sports bar’ during March Madness.
