SES San Jose 2007

This will be my first trip to the Search Engine Strategies show and I am looking forward to meeting some fellow SEM people. I am sure that certain classes and speaker will be very popular and I am looking forward to my first ‘Google Dance’. Here are a few events on the SES San Jose 2007 agenda that I will be looking forward to:
Monday @ 4:00 – Advanced Paid Search. In addition to this being a good topic, Jon Kelly is a Denver native and one of my clients, Mortgage101.com, uses his company and I am an advocate of his mortgage and insurance advertising network. If you would like more information about SureHits.com and how it works, send me an email.
Tuesday @ 4:45 – Are Paid Links Evil? – Of course I want to see this one…they made this specifically for Matt Cutts. I have not heard him speak before…someone mentioned he actually has a sense of humor. Either way, I want to see him speak.
Wednesday @ 10:30 – Local Search Marketing Tactics – Chris Sherman is moderating my SEO Best Practices in Denver on Oct 1st and I am interested to see what these guys and gals have to say about Local Search before I have to get in front of a crowd at SMX Local and Mobile in Denver.
Wednesday @ 3:15 – SEM Pricing Models – How to get paid? I often feel like a poker table where I am staring down a client as I quote a price and dare him to call my bluff. I am looking forward to see how other people REALLY quote and price their services and expertise.
Thursday @ 12:30 – Buzz Monitoring – I have followed Andy Beal online and I think ‘Buzz Monitoring’, ‘Personal Branding’, and ‘Online PR’ are big web 2.0 opportunities. Particularly after a company has a bad PR or online reputation management issue. Could be interesting?
If you are attending SES San Jose 2007 and some how find yourself reading this blog article, drop me a line….let’s network!
